Don’t Be Sidelined Campaign Wraps Up

Last week The Kim Foundation, along with our many amazing community partners, attended our final Don’t Be Sidelined lunch. After four wonderful years partnering with Husker Sports Marketing, we have decided to wrap up the campaign in preparation to reveal our next big campaign launch . . . more details coming soon!

Over the past few years, we have had a constant presence at Husker football games, volleyball games, baseball games, and numerous community events. With the help of many dedicated volunteers, we have managed to hand out roughly 45,000 red Don’t Be Sidelined bracelets, countless resources, and have had thousands of web site visits from people all over the world.

We hope that this campaign helped to start the conversation about mental illness among people who may not have ever reached out for help otherwise. We will continue to keep the web site up and running as a resource for the community. To visit the web site, please go to: http://www.dontbesidelined.com/

We would like to thank our many partners for a great run! A sincere thank you to Bryan Medical Center, CHI Health, Husker Sports Marketing, Blue Valley Behavioral Health, Catholica Charities, DHHS Nebraska, CenterPointe, Janssen, Lutheran Family Services, Magellan Healthcare, Nebraska State Suicide Prevention Coalition, Interchurch Ministries of Nebraska, and Nebraska Mental Health Centers.
