Scholarships Available for Alternatives 2008
Mental Health America Conference, and NAMI National Conference

Scholarship forms are now available to attend Alternatives 2008, the 22nd annual national conference organized by and for people with psychiatric histories, the 2008 Mental Health America (MHA) Conference, and the 2008 NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) National Conference.

Alternatives 2008: Creating Community through Active Citizenship is being organized by the National Empowerment Center and will be held in Buffalo, N.Y., October 29 – November 2, 2008. MHA’s annual conference, No Health Without Mental Health, will be held June 4-7, 2008, in Washington, D.C. Click here to download an application. A completed application and letter of recommendation must be sent by U.S. mail postmarked no later than March 31, 2008.
