Project Relate is a public service campaign that
strives to break down the stigma and stereotypes associated with
mental illness and help the public relate to those who cope with
these issues. The project is a joint effort between mental health
service providers, advocacy groups, and non-profit organizations
across Nebraska – a rare and important partnership.
In addition to speaking out against stigma and
providing information about mental illness to the community, Project
Relate also aims to provide a clearinghouse of mental health resources
across the state of Nebraska. This way, people who suffer from mental
illness and their loved ones can easily find the mental health services
they need.
This project was only made possible through the
dedication of time, energy, expertise and resources from a variety
of health care, social service, non-profit, and other organizations.
