State Incentive Grants to Build Capacity for Alternatives to Restraint and Seclusion

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center for Mental Health Services is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2007 for State Incentive Grants to Build Capacity for Alternatives to Restraint and Seclusion. The purpose of this program is to support States/Tribes in their efforts to reduce and ultimately eliminate the use of restraint and seclusion in institutional and community-based settings that provide mental health services (including services for people with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders).
