After months of collaboration with veterans and
people in the military, a special WRAP book has been developed by
Mary Ellen Copeland, Ed Anthes and Walter Hudson to meet the special
needs of people who are, or have served our country in the military.
People with this life experience may be having a hard time coping
with the hardship, trauma and loss related to military service and
being involved in war-related activities.
This new adaptation of the Wellness Recovery
Action Plan is designed to help people in the process of recovery,
of getting well and staying well, and of assisting them in becoming
who they want to be and making their life the way they want it.
It will also be helpful to people in adapting to any challenges
they have in their life like chronic illness, serious disability,
being on active duty or dealing with extreme loss or grief.
Wellness Recovery Action Plan for Veterans and People in the Military
is available February 1, 2007 through the mental health recovery
website at
www.mentalhealthrecovery.com for $6.00
a copy.
