Nebraskan Leslie Byers Honored with the Making a Difference Award

Each year members of the Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health from all across the country send in recommendations to the Federation Board of Directors for the Making a Difference Award. This award recognizes a professional who works with or on behalf of children with mental health needs and their families.

Leslie Byers, Family Liaison at Uta Halee Girls Village & Cooper Village Home for Boys was recently awarded this prestigious honor. Leslie will be recognized at the Federation’s annual conference in Washington, DC, December 7-9, 2007.
