Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week Candlelight Vigil - Omaha

We as a community have the power to make real, lasting changes in our children’s lives by learning about children’s mental health issues, stigma surrounding mental illness, needs of youths and families, and the realization that recovery is possible.

Please join the Nebraska Family Support Network for a candlelight vigil Friday, May 9, 2008 at Miller’s Landing Park, 151 Freedom Park Road in downtown Omaha from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Nebraska Family Support Network is calling upon schools, colleges, churches, parents, children and community members in hopes that you will join together to give parents and children of our community hope.

There will be speakers, entertainment, food, and hope.

Free parking is available at the Miller’s Landing Park. Overflow parking available at the Gallup parking lot adjacent to Millers Landing Park.
