NAMIWalks for the Mind of America

NAMI-Nebraska announces the state’s first participation in the NAMIWalks for the Mind of America program.

NAMI asks that you join them Saturday, June 21, 2008 as they walk to decrease the stigma often related to mental illness, build community alliances and partnerships, and raise funds to further the reach of NAMI programs to Nebraskans that may benefit from them. Although all of NAMI-Nebraska’s programs and services are offered free of charge, funds raised will assist in purchasing materials and training program trainers.

The event will be held at Elmwood Park in Omaha, Nebraska and is free of charge.
