December FFCMH 18th Annual Conference Improving Outcomes Through Practice-based Evidence: Youth and Families Speak Out! Save the date. The 18th Annual Conference will be held December 1-3, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency at Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri. Addressing the disparity between evidence-based practices and what youth and families define as effective, the Federation Conference Committee is seeking proposals which (a) acknowledge and incorporate cultural and linguistic diversity and the perspectives of youth and families in defining Practice-based Evidence; and (b) highlight the collaboration between families, youth, advocates, and the research community that is necessary to better define Practice-based Evidence.
