Not Alone Radio Program, Jan. 24: Fresh Hope

Because the unexpected happened, as it does once in a while, we found ourselves needing to postpone our planned broadcast with our friends from the Initial Response Unit (IRU), and re-broadcast a program with the Fresh Hope Support group in Elkhorn. The listener response to the original broadcast was overwhelming; listeners commented that this support group really gave them hope, and the courage to join a support program.

Fresh Hope is a faith-based group sponsored by the Community of Grace Church in Elkhorn. Its membership continues to grow, in fact, support groups in several other states have begun, using Fresh Hope as there model. We knew listeners would appreciate the affirmation Fresh Hope members bring. We remind listeners that it is perfectly OK to visit several support groups before selecting the one (or two) that seem right for you!
